Joanne smiled and shrugged, "I'm done worrying." She shrugged, "It's all beyond me now." She walked out the door and smiled over her shoulder at Collins.
"Oh..." Stopping in front of the grabage can Joanne stayed silent for a few moments blinking, "Uhm, well, lets see. Though they are gone from... use, they will never be forgotten. And maybe someone will find them... and may they serve them as well as they served you." She finnished slowly looking down and laughing slightly shaking her head to herself.

"I'm glad. If you started to wear a scarf and glasses I would really start to worry," Collins teased Joanne. Mark did have a bad tendency to be the worrier of the group. And he was always such an easy mark...ah well, Mark knew Collins loved him.
Collins smiled deeply and nodded. "Good choice of words. Touching with both sentimentality and hope. I approve. Though I don't really think I'd give these to the homeless." He brought the shoes to his nose and winced. "No wonder Angel hated these things...anyway. Shoes...you were good to me. Helped me run from cops, ex-boyfriends, and professors. I thank you for that. And I thank you for not working so well when I was mugged. You will always have the honor of being the shoes that I had on when I fell in love with Angel. Sadly, one's legacy cannot go on forever." He tossed the shoes into a garbage can and waved.

Joanne laughed and shrugged, "How did you know I was thinking of starting to do that?" She asked and snickerd to herself. "I could never pull of being Mark anyway. I'm not pale enough." She said and let out a sigh.
She clapped and patted Collins on the back. "They will be with us in our memorys." She said and nodded solemly. She shook her head slightly and brushed down her coat looking around. "So maybe you should start breaking you're new shoes in now. You know so they won't be so uncomfortable for long..." She looked up at Collins and smiled at him.

Collins chuckled and patted Joanne's back. "Don't worry Jo me either. We'll leave that to the plae boys." He looked down at his feet now clad in only socks. And who knew what was on the streets of New York. He shuddered at the thought and pulled on his new shoes.
"Yeah I better start breaking them in...I'd rather not walk barefoot in the city. Knowing my luck I would catch the bubonic plague or something. Then it could party with the AIDS. Who knew my body was a plague magnet?" Collins chuckled to himself. Even though he had the deadly disease he barely took it seriously. Only when he was forced to.
